Naya Rivera Dishes Details On Her Memoir And Her Famous Ex On ‘The Real’

Sorry, Not Sorry author and actress Naya Rivera is stopping by The Real on Tuesday to dish details on her upcoming memoir and shed some light on if her ex, Big Sean, infamous break-up track “IDFWU” is about her.

Jeannie Mai asked Rivera how having an abortion without telling her now husband Ryan Dorsey, then boyfriend, affected their relationship. “Yeah I mean, I share in the book that you know, when I had made that decision, I made it by myself. And uh, as I feel like you know, is the case for a lot of women and I did not share it with Ryan at the time,” she replied.

Adding, “And by the time we sort of reconnected and I was like, “Gosh there’s a reason why you keep coming back in my life and we keep coming back together. And I was like I have to tell you something.” You know, I put in the book like verbatim what he said and I think it was the kindest and best thing that any man could have ever said in that situation. And uh, it just made me love him that much more, so I thank him for that.”

Later, Rivera talked about how she felt when Big Sean released his no holds bar track back in 2014 and if she knew about the song beforehand.
