Ariana Grande Gearing Up For 2016 VMA Performance With Nicki Minaj

“It’s not just a performance, it’s a statement.”

Ariana Grande is the recently announced performer at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards happening live this Sunday, August 28th, from Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The 23-year-old Dangerous Woman singer revealed in a minute long video that she would be taking the stage. “When you take the stage at the VMAs you step into another world,” Grande started off the clip as artist Hattie Stewart created a painting of her.

Grande is slated to perform her new single “Side To Side” with Nicki Minaj on Sunday and later that night the music video will be premiered. Britney Spears featuring G-Eazy, Nick Jonas featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Future and Rihanna are also scheduled to perform at the 2016 VMAs.
