The 2016 BET Awards airs live on Sunday, June 26th from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Hosted by Black-ish stars Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson, the night will celebrate black excellence in music, television, sports, and more.
Queen Bey is expected to make an appearance and open the show. BET confirmed the rumors with a tweet that read, “At 8P/7c the whole world will be in #Formation! 🐝🍋 #BETAwards,” along with a photo of Bey’s girls walking the carpet.
Another big moment of the night is the hyped up Prince tribute featuring Janelle Monae, Stevie Wonder, and more.
Be sure to come back to GGB later in the night for all the winners from the 2016 BET Awards. Congrats to all the winners.
