Khloé Kardashian lands a spread for Harper’s Bazaar where the normally glammed up reality star/entrepreneur is stripped down to neutral and earth tones highlighting her natural beauty for the shoot. In the interview Kardashian opens up about fame, being the “real” sister, dating celebrities, and losing weight in Hollywood.

Kardashian was once referred to as the “fat sister,” which of course struck a nerve with her, but her longtime stylist Monica Rose never made her feel that way. “At my fattest, Monica would always come with racks of clothes and make me feel special. She never told me, ‘Oh, they don’t have that in your size,'” Khloé said about being styled for shoots. “Other people actually said, ‘I just can’t work with you’—because I was too big. That always hurt my feelings, of course.”

Now Khloé is giving serious #bodygoals having dropped 40 pounds since 2013 and is set to headline her own fitness show Revenge Body on E! The 31-year-old also spoke on the fact that she’s known for her curve these days and her unfiltered persona. “People think I’m more ‘real’. I’m the first person to say if I didn’t do something right or that I could have done something differently. I share so much, maybe more in-depth than my sisters, and I think people appreciate that,” she said.

Outside of being married to Lamar Odom, Kardashian has dated a few well-known men since her pending divorce from the former baller. Celebrities seem to be who Khloé wants to deal with only saying, “I used to wonder why celebrities only dated celebrities, but when you’re in it you understand. You feel a little safer.”

And being safe and building real relationships is hard when you’re apart of one of the most famous families. Kardashian noted, “Our family has way more information about [us] online than any other, and it’s always so bizarre when you meet someone and see their perception of you. Sometimes I feel like I have to prove people wrong, and that’s weird. It’s easy to meet people, but you don’t know if you’re meeting them for the right reasons. Knowing who to trust is hard.”
