Women of all ages gathered at the Art Space Lansdowne in Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 4 to be empowered, network, and get beauty tips from experts at the The Ageless Beauty Symposium: Vol.1. presented by 10Twelve Beauty & Tree of Life Wellness.
The second annual Empower equals Empire Soirée also gave guests the opportunity to learn about makeup and skin care along with clearing up any misconceptions about the art of applying makeup. Wellness experts were also on location to give women in attendance a taste of Reiki, a Japanese technique to reduce stress and develop relaxation, and explain the importance of healthy nutrition.
Other vendors on site like: Career Wardrobe, Feminist Apparel, Destined to Be Different Mentorship, Maebee’s Beauty Studio, TUF Cosmetics, ElleBluJae Handcraft Accessories, and Valerie Peoples Brow Art spoke about their brands and the importance of empowering women to be better and build as a team.
Live make up demonstrations were also done allowing guests to know exactly which steps they may be missing applying makeup and regimes to follow.
Professional make up artist and Owner of 10Twelve Beauty Nahema Torres, who has worked with beauty brands such as: Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, NARS, and Estee Lauder, had this idea of providing a forum for women to “embrace the beauty of aging” and how they could achieve it with no worries.
Adrienne Santoleri, founder of TUF Cosmetics, spoke to GGB about how make up can really empower women saying, “When you look beautiful, you feel beautiful and when you feel beautiful you can conquer anything.”
