“X-Men: Apocalypse” actress Alexandra Shipp stopped by the Wendy Williams show to discuss her latest film and more.
Shipp will be stepping into the shoes of Halle Berry playing Ororo Munroe aka Storm in the new “X-Men” movie. This film follows the premise of “X-Men: First Class” as more of a prequel to the film franchise revealing deeper back stories of our beloved X-Men in their younger lives.
While on Wendy, Shipp talked about stepping into the shoes Berry made famous and shaving her head to gear up for the role. Later the ladies discussed her friendship with Mos Def, staying out of the Hollywood party scene, and releasing music.
“I’ve been working on my music. It’s been a long time coming. I was going to put some stuff out after ‘Aaliyah’ because I had a little bit of time, and then jumped right into ‘Straight Outta Compton,” she said about being busy acting so she couldn’t do music. She then talked about possibly releasing some stuff in the future.
“X-Men: Apocalypse” is in theaters tomorrow, May 27th, just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
