The first teaser trailer for Disney’s live-action re-telling of their 1991 classic film “Beauty and the Beast” has been released and it looks amazing!
Although the teaser is brief, we get a look at the beautiful work that went into recreating the magic from the original with the grand sets. The teaser also previews the beloved score of the film by Alan Menken, who returned to work on the film and wrote new music for the live-action version.
We don’t see them, but we hear Lumiere (Ewan McGregor) and Cogsworth (Ian McKellen) talking about Belle (Emma Watson) entering the castle, then we see her slightly towards the end of the tease as she looks at the infamous rose encased in glass.
The all-star cast also includes: Luke Evans as Gaston (OMG), Dan Stevens as Beast, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Josh Gad as Le Fou, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, and Stanley Tucci as Cadenza. Unlike previous live-action Disney films, “Beauty and the Beast” will remain a musical and was directed by Bill Condon (“Dreamgirls,” “Gods and Monsters”).
