Tamar Braxton is leaving the daytime Emmy nominated talk show series The Real.
Rumors started swirling yesterday evening that the co-host was fired from the show. Those rumors went into high gear after Tamar posted an Instagram photo of her sister Toni Braxton embracing her with a lengthy caption attached talking about betrayal. This time, the rumors proved to be true and Braxton will not be returning for the third season of The Real.
A joint statement from The Real and Tamar Braxton read, “THE REAL and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season. She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career. Everyone associated with THE REAL appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best for the future.”
Braxton’s The Real co-hosts: Tamera Mowry-Housley, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai, and Loni Love have not responded to the news yet.
