Drake Is More Than A Meme, Sings About It In Opening SNL Monologue

This past weekend Views rapper Drake was the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live. 

While the laughs were far and few between during the sketches, there were a few moments that stood out to the audience that got #DrakeSNL to trend on Twitter Saturday night. One of those moments was the opening monologue where the “One Dance” OVO rapper went on to sing about how he’s been generated into countless memes and he’s more than a random photo of himself overwritten with text meant as a joke.

Later in the show, in between sketches, Drake performed “One Dance” and “Hype” from his latest album Views.
