Emma Roberts and Dave Franco Go On A Risking Game Of ‘Dare’ In “Nerve” [TRAILER]

Are you a watcher or a player?

In the new Lionsgate thriller “Nerve,” Emma Roberts plays Vee, a high school student living a “safe” life, according to her friends, and decides to partake in an unusual online game called “Nerve” where players accept challenges from a community of online viewers called “the watchers” dictating your next move.

Insert Ian (Dave Franco), a handsome stranger Vee is dared to kiss for 5 seconds. After that, the two go an a thrilling adventure through New York City on a course mapped out by “the watchers.” Everything starts off as harmless challenges for income but the games start to get more violent and real for the players.

This film is definitely giving me “13 Sins” meets that episode of MTV’s Eye Candy where people in the club were dared to do outlandish things for money. It’ll be interesting to see where these players end up and what they’re willing to do for money.
