Jimmy Fallon Shares Amazing Story About Playing Ping-Pong With Prince

Jimmy Fallon, Prince, and ping-pong. Need I say more? I will because this is an amazing story.

On The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Fallon finally had the opportunity to speak on the passing of beloved pop star Prince, who died last Thursday.

Fallon and The Tonight Show crew was on a hiatus the week of Prince’s death shooting for a ride that will be at Universal Orlando. He went on to talk about the ride for a bit, then shared a memorable encounter he had with Prince.

While Jimmy Fallon shared his story I couldn’t help but to think about the Dave Chappelle/Charlie Murphy True Hollywood segment about that time Murphy played basketball and had pancakes with Prince and “The Great Ping-Pong Scam” from Victorious.

Basically the story was about a time when Prince wanted to play ping-pong with Jimmy Fallon. At first he wanted to challenge him at a ping-pong club in  New York, then he wanted to play him when he was a guest on the show, then he didn’t, then he did, and the two eventually did play around the time Fallon had his daughter Winnie.

The story was hilarious and from all the stories I heard about Prince, it seems about right.
