Morris Chestnut and Regina Hall Star In Thriller ‘When The Bough Breaks’

What do you get when you combine “Fatal Attraction,” “Single White Female” and a splash of “The Hand That Rocks The Cradle,” you get the new thriller “When The Bough Breaks” starring Regina Hall, Morris Chestnut, and introducing Jaz Sinclair.

In “When The Bough Breaks,” Chestnut and Hall star as married couple John and Laura Taylor who are experiencing trouble conceiving a child that they desperately want. They decide to go the surrogate route – insert seemingly pleasant Anna (Sinclair) who can make all their child wishes come true. Anna has an abusive boyfriend and ends up living with the Taylor’s, first mistake.

The couple begin to treat Anna like family, second mistake, then Anna becomes obsessed with the notion she can be the next Mrs. Taylor, all hell breaks loose. The trailer views like a typical thriller of this topic and I feel like we can predict what’s going to happen next. The only thing that could save this film is if Anna does some crazy off the wall shit to keep things interesting.

Romany Malco, Michael K. Williams, and Theo Rossi also are featured in the film out in September 2016.
