Mankind is facing one hell of a fight when the oldest known mutant known as En Sabah Nur, or Apocalype (Oscar Isaac) awakes from thousands of years of rest hellbent on destroying the world as we know it in “X-Men: Apocalypse.”
“X-Men: Apocalypse” follows “X-Men: Days of Future Past” under the direction of Bryan Singer. The new plot follows Apocalypse, the mutant worshiped as a god, as he recruits mutants to take down human civilization. One mutant on team Apocalypse, that’s no stranger to the “X-Men” film franchise, is Magneto (Michael Fassbender). On the opposite side fighting for the humans are Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) and Professor X (James McAvoy) as they team up with the young X-Men to save mankind.
Along with Issac, Fassbender, Lawrence, and McAvoy; Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn, Lucas Till, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alexandra Shipp, Josh Helman, Lana Condor, and Ben Hardy join the cast.
