Super Bowl 50 aired Sunday, February 7 live from the Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California with the Denver Bronocs and The Carolina Panthers up for the championship title. And now that all of that nonsense is out of the way let’s talk about the main event all us non football fans were waiting for – The Pepsi Halftime Show starring Coldplay.

Coldplay kicked off their performance with a lively performance of “Viva La Vida” followed by “Paradise” and “Adventure of a Lifetime,” and then the real show started. Bruno Mars, who headlined the halftime show back in 2014, performed “Uptown Funk” with his boys with Beyoncé, who starred in the 2013 halftime show, and her girls performed her new single “Formation” getting everyone together. After Mars and Beyoncé did an amazing mashup of “Formation” and “Uptown Funk,” Chris Martin joined the duo to continue Mars hit song.

The halftime show wrapped with Coldplay’s “Fix Up” with Bey and Mars joining as a montage of past performers were played. It ended with a message to “Believe in Love.”
