The Next Trailer: ‘Barbershop: The Next Cut’ Talks Love, Religion, and More In New Trailer

“It’s been more than 10 years,” but many things never change when it comes to the barbershop and the community. In the third installment of the “Barbershop” franchise, “Barbershop: The Next Cut” brings back familiar faces, Ice Cube, Cedric the Entertainer, and Eve, along with some newbies, Nicki Minaj, Regina Hall, and Common, to continue the story of what really goes down at Calvin’s (Cube) Barbershop.

In the new trailer for the film, politics, religion, love, and sex are talked about among the many barbers and beauticians in the now co-ed shop, but while things are often peaceful and happy inside the shop, outside the community is becoming overrun by violence, drugs, and crime. Calvin and his gang know something must be done, so they use the barbershop as a way to help shape their community for the better. Anthony Anderson, JB Smoove, Lamorne Morris, Sean Patrick Thomas, Tyga, Deon Cole, and more are all featured in the new film out in the spring.
