Idiot hookers rejoice, Scream Queens got greenlit for its second season and I don’t know about you, but I can’t be more excited!

Gary Newman, a representative from FOX, announced not only a second season, but that the new season will take place in a hospital. Maybe the Chanel’s got transferred from the psych hospital, or it will take place there. “It’s going to take place in a hospital and explore some of the most interesting medical fascinomas,” Newman said, adding, “This is something Ryan Murphy loves and had a lot of fun with on Nip/Tuck, and he, Brad [Falchuk] and Ian [Brennan] are going to infuse that sensibility on Scream Queens.” Can I just say I was obsessed with Nip/Tuck so now I’m double excited.

The next question is how will our favs return, I’m looking at you Billie Lourd, “Ryan definitely intends to bring some of the actors from the first installment back. I believe they will be the same characters,” Dana Walden, another FOX exec, said. Apparently Lea Michele‘s character Hester will be returning. She tweeted, “OMG I couldn’t be happier right now!!!! @ScreamQueens Season 2!!!! This is the best news ever!!!! We’re back!! #HereComesHester.”

Miss Oberlin herself, Emma Roberts, posted a classic American Horror Story: Coven line about Scream Queens returning posting on Instagram, “Surprise bitches…Bet you thought you’d seen the last of her…#Chanel #ScreamQueens#Season2.”

The premiere season of Scream Queens brought in 2.8 million weekly viewers, and even more viewers catching up on demand, and centered around a killer in a red devil costume on a college campus targeting members of Kappa Kappa Tau sorority. The season was filled with eye-catching fashion and even catchier one-liners with big names like Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, and Ke Ke Palmer on the show with special guests Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas. Although there was a huge body count by the season’s end, many fan favorites survived.

The cast of Scream Queens will be at this year’s Paley Fest on Saturday, March 12, so be sure to keep an eye on GGB because we’ll have the season 2 scoop.
