The Golden Globe Awards are often slated to be the favorite award show among everyone in Hollywood. There is endless amounts of booze and the celebs pretty much can get away with saying and doing anything they want, which is always a score for the viewing audience.

On Sunday, January 10, the 2016 Golden Globes aired live from the Beverly Hilton with host Ricky Gervais. While Gervais is known for his outspoken banter, he wasn’t up there on the list of things that social media went wild over. One moment though did go to everyone’s favorite outspoken former convict turned music mogul. None other than Cookie Lyon herself aka Taraji P. Henson.

Taraji P. Henson earned her first Golden Globe for Empire in the ‘Best Actress – TV Series, Drama’ category and went to accept her award by passing out cookies to the audience on her way to stage. Lady Gaga got a cookie, Angela Bassett got a cookie, Leonardo DiCaprio got a cookie, cookies for everyone. And if you think Henson was going to allow her big moment to get played off think again. “I waited 20 years for this. You’re going to wait,” she said when the warp music started to play. Congrats Taraji on your award.
