The 2016 Golden Globe Awards aired on Sunday, January 10 live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel with host Ricky Gervais. The 73rd annual celebration gathered A-listers of Hollywood to award actors and actresses in movies and television.
Big winners of the night included stars from the films “The Revenant” and “The Martian.” It was also a night of firsts as well with Lady Gaga, Taraji P. Henson, and Rachel Bloom all earning their first Golden Globe awards, among others. Fan favs like Jennifer Lawrence, John Hamm, and series like The Affair and Mr. Robot all were recognized during the broadcast. Tom Hanks also presented Denzel Washington with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for his career accomplishments.
