Get ready to be reunited with our favorites girls navigating life in their 20’s in New York City in season 5 of HBO’s hit series Girls. Last season Hannah (Lena Dunham) embarked on a grad school journey to Iowa and didn’t like it that much, so she moved back to NY to take a substitute teacher job. There she met a cute fellow teach and the two hit it off. In the full trailer of season 5 it appears they are still going strong.

Hannah’s father came out as gay and her parents are in the midst of divorce, so that will definitely be a plot point this season. Jessa and Adam (Jemima Kirke and Adam Sackler) became close in season 4, so we’ll get to see how that dynamic grows. Marnie (Allison Williams) got engaged to Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and prepping to get married in the upcoming season, but will she got through with it? Ray (Alex Karpovsky) ran for a political position and won, and Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) pondered taking a writing job overseas and decided to go platinum blonde?
