The first look at Fuller House is everything I could hope it would be minus the harmonized “Ahhh, ahhh, ahhh, ahhh, Chip-a-dee-ba-ba-dow.”
If you’ve been living under a rock and have no clue that the beloved 1987-1995 sitcom was getting a Netflix reboot than shame on you. But if you’ve been on board for the reboot since the announcement and have been patiently waiting for a first teaser prepare your feels because it’s here.
As reported before, Fuller House will bring together all the original cast members minus Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen to tell the continuing story of the Tanner family. This time “the house is full again” with Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber (D.J. Tanner-Fuller, Stephanie Tanner, and Kimmy Gibbler) who move into the Tanner’s childhood home to raise D.J.’s three boys.
In the first teaser trailer familiar landmarks of San Francisco and the Tanner house are shown throughout. As the teaser ends you can hear D.J., Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin), Uncle Jesse (John Stamos), Uncle Joey (Dave Coulier), Danny Tanner (Bob Saget), and more trying to get in the front door with D.J.’s boys: Jackson, Max, and Tommy. Stamos and Coulier can even be heard saying some of their infamous one liners from the show. What a time to be alive.
Fuller House premieres on Netflix February 26. Watch the first teaser trailer for Fuller House below and share your thoughts in the comments.
