Familiar And New Faces Appear In The First Trailer For ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’

Will Smith may be gone, but the aliens are ready to make another attack on the world as we know it, so it’s time to suit up yet again in the follow-up film to the 1996 “Independence Day” in”Independence Day: Resurgence.”

“We always knew they were coming back” is the plot line for the upcoming film setting the premise of a day the world was anticipating for decades. Earth may have used the very technology that was used against us before, but it’s no match for the much bigger attack heading our way.

The first trailer for the film is on a much bigger scale than it’s predecessor with special effects and battle scenes that will make it worth a trip to the theater. “Independence Day: Resurgence” will be in theaters June 24, 2016 with Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, and Sela Ward in the Roland Emmerich directed film.
