There’s a young Jean Grey and Storm, the amazing Quicksilver is back, a new threat, and it’s the end of the world as we know it in the first trailer for “X-Men: Apocalypse.”
Director Bryan Singer (“X-Men: Days of Future Past”) is back tacking the next chapter in the X-Men franchise. In this film Marvel fans meet Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), the first and most powerful mutant who has always been worshipped as a god. He has great powers and can control all the mutants. Apocalypse wakes after thousands of years to a world he doesn’t deem fit to exist. He recruits the most powerful mutants including Magneto (Michael Fassbender) to wipe out mankind and create a new world. Along with Professor X (James McAvoy) and the young generation of X-Men, they attempt to save the world.
McAvoy and Fassbender return to the franchise with Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Lucas Till, and Evan Peters and welcome newcomers Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alexandra Shipp, Josh Helman, Lana Condor, and Ben Hardy.
