‘The Huntsman: Winter’s War’ First Trailer Shares What Happened To Queen Ravenna and The Huntsman Emily Blunt, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, and Jessica Chastain star in trailer

Minus Kristen Stewart and director Rupert Sanders, the follow up to the 2012 film “Snow White and the Huntsman,” “The Huntsman: Winter’s War,” reprises Chris Hemsworth’s The Huntsman as this film’s title character along with the wicked, Evil Queen Ravenna, played by Charlize Theron, with a few new additions (Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain) and another familiar face (Sam Claflin) to continue the story on what happened to The Huntsman and Ravenna after the previous film.

In the first look with the official trailer we meet Freya (Blunt) The Ice Queen who has shaped and grown a fleet of skilled Huntsmen including Hemsworth and Chastain’s characters. Upon learning of her sister’s death, Freya is determined to resurrect her sister Ravenna and seek revenge on the entire kingdom. Yeah this isn’t your typical fairy tale. The trailer is filled with action and special effects that rival superhero movies. Cedric Nicolas-Troyan took the lead as director on this project with Joe Roth (“Maleficent,” “Alice in Wonderland”) with the producer credit.
