Go ‘Back to the Future’ With This Hilarious Honest Trailer

Take a look at your calendar because it’s October 21, 2015 officially marking today as “Back to the Future Day” because if you’re not familiar this is the date Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) went to in the future and get this, it’s sort of nothing like it was imagined. Shame I thought we’d be living in the Jetsons age by now too.

To celebrate, Screen Junkies rightfully released an Honest Trailer about the “Back to the Future” trilogy trying to make sense of the mind bend viewers went through figuring out the plot and moments in time. The trailer pokes fun of the overlapping theme of all the films where “they travel to the past, beat up the bully, fix the future, and set up the sequel.” We met Marty McFly and the mad scientist Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd), along with dabble in the complicated relationship between McFly and his mother Lorraine Baines (Lea Thompson). If you were a fan of these films this Honest Trailer is a must see.
