Parents To Be: John Legend and Chrissy Teigen Expecting Their First Child Together

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are parents to be!

Teigen shared the announcement on Instagram posting a photo of herself smiling ear to ear lying on a couch with Legend touching her belly. The caption read, “John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant 🙂 As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We’re so excited that it’s finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching! Xx.” Legend reposted the image simply captioned, “We’re pregnant!”

Back in September, Teigen and Tyra Banks opening talked about their issues with starting a family on their talk show The FAB Life [Watch below] and the pressures they felt to get pregnant. Thankfully, things worked out for Legend and Teigen and they are ready to grow their family.

The couple tied the knot in 2013 after meeting on a music video for Legend and dating for years after. This will be a first child for both.
