Elaine Hendrix Recreates ‘The Parent Trap’ Scene With SDRR Co-Star Liz Gillies [VIDEO]

The best thing that could happen this Sunday is Liz Gillies and Elaine Hendrix channeling “The Parent Trap” to celebrate the birthday of fictional twins Hallie and Annie James from the 1998 beloved pop culture phenom starring Lindsay Lohan.

Hendrix played the hated blonde bitch Meredith Blake, who was almost the step-mom to Nick Parker (Dennis Quaid) and Elizabeth James’ (Natasha Richardson) twins in the film. Today marks the birthday of the girls and Hendrix sent them a special bday message.

On Twitter she tweeted, “Happy Birthday Hallie & Annie Parker. I’d still ship you off to Switzerland. Love, #MeredithBlake #TheParentTrap.” Oh but the fun doesn’t stop there. Hendrix and her Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll co-star Liz Gillies took the birthday celebration as step further and recreated a scene from the movie.

Gillies tweeted, “Happy Birthday, Hallie & Annie. Here’s a little gift from your favorite stepmom & I. #TheParentTrap @elaine4animals,” along with a link to YouTube. In the clip, Gillies rocked pigtails, a flannel, and ripped jeans to channel Hallie/Annie, while Hendrix dusted off the old blue dress and got her Meredith Blake on to perfection. Now I want to see this movie.
