The opening credits for Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens is bloody good, but cover your ears because it’s about to get loud.
In the super-size main title sequence everyone is a suspect as the main characters from the comedy-horror television program appear on-screen channeling The Young and the Restless credits. And guess what? I love it! Scream Queens follows a series of murders on a college campus from a jilted masked killer who’s vendetta traces back to a sorority pledge gone wrong from 1995.
Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, Skyler Samuels, Abigail Breslin, Lea Michele, Billie Lourd, Diego Boneta, and Glen Powell are all featured in the opening credits with other cast members like Oliver Hudson, Nasim Pedrad, and Jamie Lee Curtis mentioned. But don’t worry Nick Jonas and Ariana Grande fans. They weren’t shown in the opening credits or mentioned because they have recurring roles.
The two-hour premiere of Scream Queens premieres on Tuesday, September 22 on Fox. Watch the super-sized opening credit sequence for Scream Queens below and share your thoughts in the comments.
