Miley Cyrus Performs New Music At VMAS Then Releases FREE Album [LISTEN]

Miley Cyrus closed out her hosting duties and the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards in a major way by not only performing a turned up, larger than life Aaahh!!! Real Monsters performance of a new song called “Dooo It!,” but she announced that she put together a brand new music project available for free on her website. See Beyoncé, now everybody is dropping secret projects.

The new “music project,” that’s what it’s been referred to as, is called Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz and features 23 tracks with collaborations from Ariel Pink, Big Sean, and Sarah Barthel of Phantogram. To be honest, you can tell Miley was probably higher than a kite making this album and I kind of dig it. All the tracks seem to flow seamlessly and it makes you feel like you can taste color, touch light, and smell sound. It’s trippy, but I think that’s the affect Miley was going for, you know with her new image and all.
