Kevin Hart came back home to Philadelphia over the weekend and set records with his “Local Run With Hart” fitness venture and his “What Now” comedy tour.
On Saturday morning, fitness buffs and Hart fans in general met him on the Philadelphia Parkway to take part in a 5K mile run in part of the North Philadelphia native’s partnership with Nike+Run Club. Thousands came out and Hart was blown away by the support. On Instagram he shared a photo from the run with the caption, “I am blown away by the turnout the we had this morning in Philadelphia….Look at all of these amazing people in this picture….My city came out and supported in a Major way!!!! Today’s 5K was Historic…We had Damn near 4,500 people come out and run!!!! Woooooow….These RUNS are becoming ground breaking….Way to go Philadelphia.”
A day later Philly broke another record for the “Ride Along 2” star. On Sunday, August 30, he performed in front of a sold crowd, 53,000 to be exact, at the “What Now” comedy tour at the Lincoln Financial Field, yeah a football stadium. The Eagles don’t even pack crowds like that.
CONGRATS Kevin Hart! Keep making the world laugh and Philly proud.
