Joy Behar is making a triumph return to ABC’s The View along with some new faces who have signed on as co-hosts for season 19 of the daytime talk show.
“As The View embarks on a remarkable 19th season, I am extremely proud to see the legacy of smart and diverse women engaging in entertaining and thought-provoking conversation continue,” Barbara Walters, creator and executive producer, said in a statement.
Behar, who was one of the original co-hosts for season 1 -16, chimed in on returning to the show saying, “Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in. Plus, Steve was getting tired of applauding every time I gave my opinion. But I’m happy to be back home. And I’m looking forward to sticking my two cents into the hot topics, especially now that Hillary and the Donald are in the spotlight.”
Along with Behar, Fuller House actress Candace Cameron Bure and Good Morning America Weekend co-anchor Paula Faris will join moderator Whoopi Goldberg and co-hosts Raven-Symoné and Michelle Collins. The View returns Tuesday, September 8.
