The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is coming back to your television screens and not in the reruns that play on Nick at Night.

According to TVLine, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are teaming up as producers to bring back the 1990’s sitcom that put Will Smith on the map back in a rebooted version. Smith will not be reprising his role as the West Philadelphia boy sent to live with his auntie and uncle in Bel-Air, but a driving force behind the scenes.

Since the show is in the very early stages, no major details have been revealed outside of Overbrook Entertainment producing and that it will put “a new spin on the fish-out-of-water tale while maintaining the spirit of Fresh Prince.”

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air ran for six seasons on NBC.
