Eminem Plays Eminem In The Honest Trailer For ‘8 Mile’ [VIDEO]

“You gotta lose yourself” in the new Honest Trailer from Screen Junkies poking fun at “8 Mile” where Eminem essentially plays himself in the movie about a white rapper emerged in black culture trying to prove himself as a legitimate rapper by entering rap battles while planning to make it out of the hood of Detroit.

In the Honest Trailer, “8 Mile,” which also happens to be one of my favorite movies, is compared to the likes of “Glitter”,”Crossroads” and “Cool as Ice,” but beating out those crappy movies where musicians attempt to make movies surrounding a music theme.

Parallels to Eminem’s real life, lack of emotion of his character, or too much, and the “clap-clap-hug-snaps” all are highlighted in the hilarious trailer.
