Photo Op: Mariah Carey Lands Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Mariah Carey was honored with the 2,556th star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles on Wednesday, August 5. The award-winning singer celebrated the festivities with a formal ceremony where Lee Daniels, Brett Ratner, and L.A. Reid all gave speeches to praise her monumental accomplishment.

On Instagram, Carey shared a photo with her star captioned. “What an incredible day. Thank you #lambs #lambily and everyone who made it happen. #star#hollywoodwalkoffame.”

Carey’s twins with Nick Cannon, Monroe Cannon and Moroccan Scott Cannon, were in attendance during the ceremony and wanted very much to be apart of the celebration, especially Moroccan. At one point, the 4-year-old embraced his mother with a hug, then grabbed on tight to her hip before being pulled away from one of Carey’s handlers. It made for a funny moment as Carey continued to pose and smile. See it all go down HERE.
