Happy Monday Glamberous Ones! Hope you all had a glam weekend and ready to get another week of fun-filled pop culture posts from your favorite blogger. I finally decided to start this new series of posts that I’ve been holding on to for a while. Here at GGB, we love movies! We’ve seen a lot and could probably know exactly what movie you’re talking about just from a line, so naturally Netflix is GGB’s bestie. Like you, I could spend many hours on the streaming service, but with sooo many choices it could be hard to pick a good movie, well I got you covered. GGB Netflix Pixs is going to save you the trouble of sorting through the film titles, so you can come here and pick one from our list, and I’ll try to remain spoiler free – unless you ask. If this becomes a popular series of posts then I’ll for sure do them often. First up, “Open Windows.”

“Open Windows”(2014) – Action, Crime, Thriller

“Open Windows” follows hardcore fan Nick Chambers (Elijah Wood) as his obsession with film star Jill Goddard (Sasha Grey) turns into a game of life and death once he’s cheated out of a date with her, that we won in an “online contest.” Nick is contacted by an unknown man named Chord via the internet and is tricked into doing all these things to get revenge on Jill. And get this, the entire movie is displayed in computer windows essentially, hence the title. It makes you second think about your devices now. Is somebody watching me as I type this?

Now Chord (Neil Maskell), the unknown assailant, is one sassy mofo and makes the film instantly turn into a comedy. We don’t see him until the end and that’s where things get weird. There’s a twist at the end that even I had to rewind a few times to get what was happening and I’m not too sure I do, but I won’t spoil it for. This film was giving me “Compliance” in that I can’t comprehend people to be so naive when it comes to speaking to someone who’s telling you to do things and you don’t know who it is.

I’m all about a good thriller, especially a psychological one, so I will say “Open Windows” did keep me interested and it had a unique premise to it. I would give this movie a three and a half kisses because I laughed a lot.

Watch the trailer for “Open Windows” below and if you watch the film, come back here and tell GGB what you think!
