Get Your First Look At “Blue Steel” In The ‘Zoolander 2’ Teaser

Dust off your “blue steel” stare because Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) is coming for you in the sequel to the 2001 film with “Zoolander 2.”

In the first teaser for the film, out in theaters February 12, 2016, we get a glimpse into the dense mind of Derek Zoolander. A computerized voice talks about the beginning of the world and how life evolved. We see weird things inside Zoolander’s mind and then the voice ponders a very important question.

For the first time we see Stiller in character asking, “If God exists, then why did He make ugly people?” After then there’s some confusion on the title card of the “Zoolander” sequel.

The sequel was announced back in March during Paris Fashion Week when Stiller and Owen Wilson took the stage as their characters Derek and Hansel and walked the runway. The follow-up film will follow the male models getting back to their job as an opposing company try to take them down.

“Zoolander 2” will not only reprise the roles of Stiller and Wilson, but Will Ferrell and Christine Taylor will be returning. Big names are also attached to the project like: Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Penélope Cruz, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian West, Billy Zane, Kristen Wiig, and Fred Armisen.
