Johnny Depp brings notorious Boston gangster Whitey Bulger to life in the biopic crime drama “Black Mass,” and the full trailer is here.

The film tells the true story of Whitey Bulger, the brother of a state senator who also happened to be the “most infamous violent criminal in the history of South Boston.” Later he became a FBI informant to help take down a Mafia family invading his turf. Bulger was double crossed by the very FBI agents he was helping and ended up serving two consecutive life sentences in a Florida prison.

Under the direction Scott Cooper, the film also stars: Dakota Johnson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Joel Edgerton, Kevin Bacon, Corey Stoll, Adam Scott, Rory Cochrane, Jesse Plemons and Peter Sarsgaard.
