Drake Channels Multiple Celebs In New ‘Energy’ Music Video

On Friday, Drake premiered the music video for his latest single “Energy,” from his If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late mixtape.

On the track where Drake raps,”I got enemies, got a lot of enemies/Got a lot of people tryna drain me of my energy/They tryna take the wave from a n*gga/F*ckin’ with the kid and pray for your n*gga,” the music video takes a completely different meaning.

The 28-year-old Canadian rapper channels a number of celebrities and superimposes his face on them. The celebs that “appeared” in the video include: Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, former Toronto mayor Rob Ford, Kanye West, OJ Simpson, Oprah, and more. It’s really weird and I would love further explanation on the creative idea behind this video.
