This has been one crazy week for the young pop star Ariana Grande and things seem to be getting worst for the pint size powerhouse vocalist, but it won’t stop her from apologizing for it.
On Tuesday, a video obtained by TMZ went viral of Grande smooching her back up dancer Ricky Alvarez at Wolfee Donuts in Lake Elsinore, CA. That tidbit went unnoticed because also in the video Grande and Alvarez were videotaped jokingly licking donuts that were placed on the donut shop’s counter and Grande was quoted saying “What the f*ck is that? I hate Americans. I hate America,” after she was presented a tray of oversized donuts.
A day of silence gave Grande and her team time to get a statement together where she talked about her disgust with obesity in America and that’s why she made the statements she made. Clearly she caught wind of people calling her on that bullshit apology and decided to issue a more personal one on her YouTube channel tonight.
Posting the video from “wisdom tooth recovery hell,” the 22-year-old’s uploaded a black and white video to her Honeymoon Diaries YouTube channel titled “sorry babes” for her fans. “I just wanted to make a video to apologize again for the whole donut fiasco and craziness because I feel like the apology that I posted, I was, I kind of missed my opportunity to actually sincerely apologize and express how I was feeling because I was too busy preaching about my issues with the food industry, which I feel like is not relative.”
In the little over 4 minute video she continues to apologize numerous times for her actions saying she was embarrassed and that she loves her fans.
Can I just say that I still love Ariana and I find this entire situation comical. Did you know she could possibly face some legal action for “cross-contaminating” the donuts she licked. I mean come on.
