Not only is FOX reuniting David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson for the “next mind-bending chapter” of The X-Files for a six-episode limited series next year, but they are bringing back every episode of the 1990’s sci-fi thriller leading up to the premiere of the new show.
“201 Days of The X-Files” starts today, July 7, and will continue, one day at a time, in order, “all building to the event series 1.24.16.”Relive every close encounter, every mind bending case, and all the smoke inhalation you can handle as viewers go back thirteen years with FBI Agents Fox Mulder (Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Anderson).
FOX TV shared on social media the 201 days marathon with a photo teased the special broadcasts with the caption, “201 episodes. 201 days. Let’s do this thing! We’re watching one episode a day every day until the new episodes premiere this January.”
The six-episode event series is headlined by creator/executive producer Chris Carter with production happening this summer.”The truth is out there” on January 24, 2016 on FOX.
