Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts, and Chiwetel Ejiofor Take The Law In Their Owns In ‘Secret in Their Eyes’

That moment when a YouTube ad turns into you watching the whole thing because it’s that good is how I found out about “Secret in Their Eyes.”

Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts, and Chiwetel Ejiofor star in the mystery thriller about FBI investigators Jess and Ray (Roberts and Ejiofor) and their District Attorney supervisor Claire (Kidman) who face a dilemma between holding up the integrity of the law and taking matters into their own hands when the daughter of one of the investigators is found brutally murdered.

In the trailer we watch the drama unfold as the killer could potentially walk with no justice served. Years down the line the opportunity rises again for Jess to get the what she always wanted: for her daughter’s killer to pay for what he did. She’s all about doing things in an unconventional way, so can Claire and Ray stop her before she does something she regrets? We’ll have to find out this fall.

“Secret in Their Eyes” premieres in theaters October 23, 2015.
