Liz Gillies Stops By Zach Sang and the Gang – Talks Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, Leaving Nick Days Behind and More

Liz Gillies, the foul-mouthed beauty from Jersey and also one of the stars from the upcoming FX’s series Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, stopped by Zach Sang and the Gang radio show to talk her new series, where she plays aspiring musician Gigi, but also chatted about leaving her Victorious days behind, down time in between work, birthday plans and so much more.

I can’t be sure if I love Liz Gillies because she’s funny or if she’s funny because I love her. All I know is I got my laughs for the night watching this interview and Zach Sang really brings out the best in Miss Gillies during these talks. Below are some of my favorite bits from the chat, but honestly the entire interview is a gem.

On cursing:”The best kept secret of me is that I have the worst mouth in the entire world. It’s shocking, I can turn it off.That’s the one good thing, I have control over it…but it’s amazing. People will meet me and just be like..OK, I have a horrible mouth.”

On being a sex symbol: “There’s an episode about the music industry and about becoming a sex symbol and how it’s so important in pop music and how they kind of objectify whatever and I, they made this custom-made, we had to send it back and forth overnight to LA, a custom-made latex it’s ridiculous, and they have close up shots of my boobs and my butt bouncing. And then I have another outfit that I wear that’s basically, it’s like strings I’m not even kidding.”

On meeting and singing with Seth MacFarlane: “We were both born in 1926 and for some reason we are living in this time. No, we like the same type of music. I met him at karaoke and we now sing jazz music together which is so cool I like moonlight as a jazz singer. That’s like my secret other job.”

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll premieres July 16 at 10pm on FX.
