Charisma Carpenter Joins ‘Scream Queens’ As The Mom Of Ariana Grande’s Character

Charisma Carpenter is joining the Ryan Murphy money train as one of the newest additions to the upcoming fall series Scream Queens. 

The Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Veronica Mars actress has signed on to play the mother of Ariana Grande‘s character Katherine aka Chanel #2 in the Ryan Murphy comedy-horror Fox anthology series. And that’s not all, Roger Bart (Revenge, Desperate Housewives) has been cast as Grande’s father on the show, so I hope that means lots of my Ari, who turns 22 today.

Scream Queens is set on a college campus that experiences a spree of murders for the first season. Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Jamie Lee Curtis, Oliver Hudson, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, and more will appear on the series.

Scream Queens premieres Tuesday, September 22 on FOX.
