Meet Suhad – Kylie Bunbury Has King Tut’s Heart In New ‘TUT’ Clip [VIDEO]

The countdown for Spike’s mini-series event TUT is officially on since we are less than a month away. In a new clip for promotion of the show, we meet Suhad, Tut’s mistress if you will in the series.

Kylie Bunbury (Twisted/Under the Dome) plays Suhad, the object of Tut’s affection after coming to his aid and unexpectedly falling for him. “Suhad is a commoner. She’s half Mitanni and half Egyptian. She falls in love with Tut, who’s in enormous power and she doesn’t realize it at first,” Bunbury says of her character in the new clip.

Avan Jogia, who plays King Tut in the mini series, rejoins his Twisted co-star in the Spike limited series and also appears in the clip. He explains the relationship between Suhad and the king, “Suhad is the heart for Tut and the deep love but reminds him of what it is to rule.”

“TUT recounts the astounding saga of one of history’s most extraordinary rulers, Tutankhamun (King Tut), his rise to power and his struggles to lead Egypt to glory, while his closest advisors, friends and lovers scheme for their own nefarious interests.”

The three-part mini series event of TUT starts Sunday, July 19 at 9pm on Spike.
