Universal Reveals ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ Release – Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson Set To Return

You have not seen the end of the Barden Bellas. They will be back in two years according to Universal.

The feature film company announced the third installment of the “Pitch Perfect” franchise will be hitting the big screen Friday, July 21, 2017 and guess who’s coming back: Beca and Fat Amy aka Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson.

“Pitch Perfect 2,” which debuted in May of this year, beat out the first installment at the box office bringing in $259.7 million worldwide versus the 2012 film which earned $115.4 million worldwide. Paul Brooks, Max Handelman, and Elizabeth Banks are returning to produce the film, but no word on a director. Banks directed the second film and Jason Moore the first.

No past or future cast members have been confirmed outside of Kendrick and Wilson.
