Meet The Queen And Watch History Revealed In NEW ‘Tut’ Promos [VIDEOS]

It’s almost one month away from the premiere of Spike’s mini series event Tut starring Sir Ben Kingsley, Avan Jogia, Sibylla Deen, Alexander Siddig, Kylie Bunbury, Peter Gadiot, Iddo Goldberg and Nonso Anozie about the short-lived reign of the boy king King Tutankhamun.

As we get closer, Spike is rolling out new promos and featurettes to take the audience deep into ancient Egypt to relive a telling of the time when King Tut (Jogia) ruled a people and tried to dodge enemies that lived within the sanctuary of his home.

I had the extreme honor of previewing night one of Tut and I must say, despite my very bias opinion because you know I love Avan, the series is very good! It’s all I can think about these days. I will be giving an in dept review in the upcoming weeks so stay tuned for that.

The new promos for the mini series takes us behind the scenes and into the history of King Tut. We also meet Tut’s sister-wife Queen Ankhe (Deen) and begin to understand her role in Tut’s empire and her duty as Queen.

Watch ancient Egypt come to life in the three-part mini series event starting Sunday, July 19 at 9/8 c on Spike.
