HBO’s Girls creator/writer/actress Lena Dunham made an appearance on Friday’s The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and took a stab at Jimmy Fallon‘s ever popular segment “lip sync battle,” that sprouted a separate television show on Spike.
“My first song peaked at number three on the charts back in 1982. It’s by an artist named Charlene and it’s entitled “I’ve Never Been To Me,'” Fallon said as he took the stage first kicking the battle off. He proceeded to sing the sappy love song to himself in a mirror.
Lena Dunham then took it away with her first song performing “Outside” by Calvin Harris featuring Ellie Goulding. The second and final round brought old school, show stopping hits from both Fallon and Dunham. The late night host sung along to Run-DMC’s “Run’s House” and Dunham showed off her best dance moves to Queen’s “Fat Bottomed Girls.”
