Naya Rivera Dorsey announced on Monday that she’s penning an intimate memoir titled “Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes, and Growing Up.”
The Glee actress shared the news on Twitter posting, “Can’t wait until next spring! So many juicy stories about my life. Glee, guys, growing up & much more. #sorrynotsorry,” along with a Publishers Weekly news clip of the announcement.
The book is expected to be available spring 2016 and will reveal details about her personal life, career evolution and more. Of course people are really hoping to get the real deal on what happened between the Devious Maids actress and her ex Big Sean and what ended their engagement.
“Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes, and Growing Up” is described as, “A cast member of 1990s sitcoms such as Family Matters and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Rivera struggled for years after finding stardom as a child. Chronicling her path from riches to rags and back again—she was a Hooters waitress at one point, before landing the role of Santana Lopez on the Fox hit Glee—the book will be a warts-and-all account.”
Joanna Ng at Tarcher, who the memoir was sold to, said Rivera Dorsey offers “candid thoughts on topics ranging from dating… to the challenges of being mixed-race in Hollywood.”
