Just when you thought E.L James was done with the world of BDSM she announces a new book that will have a slight spin on the Fifty Shades of Grey novels and now film we know.

On Monday, the author of the erotic novels turned films announced GREYFifty Shades Grey as told by Christian, on Facebook. She shared a photo of the book cover with the caption, “The wait is almost over! For the readers who wanted to read Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy from Christian Grey’s POV — on June 18 (Christian Grey’s birthday) the book GREY: Fifty Shades of Grey told by Christian Grey will be released! Enjoy! #FSoG #GREY.”

In Fifty Shades Freed, the final book in the trilogy series, readers got a glimpse of Christian’s perspective and how his lifestyle came to be in the “Shades of Christian” section at the end of the book. Two chapters were featured (“Fifty’s First Christmas” and “Meet Fifty Shades”) that revealed Christian’s childhood and his initial thoughts of meeting Anastasia Steele. I honestly thought that was one of the funniest things the book offered so it’ll be interested to read a full book about, so stay tuned for a possible book review.

The books, originally told from Anastasia’s perspective along with her inner goddess, produced a blockbuster film starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan that was released in February with sequels in the works to be premiere in the next few years.
