Scream Queens is one of the most anticipated fall series with an all-star cast with the likes of: Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Keke Palmer, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Ariana Grande.
Creator Ryan Murphy and some of the cast members sat down for an exclusive segment to share some insight on what to expect for the show. “The name of the series is called Scream Queens. It is set in a fictitious college campus,” Murphy said. He continued, “When I pitched the show we were sort of talking about what is something we love that’s not on television now.”
Keke Palmer chimes in on the video saying, “It’s about these young girls that are part of a sorority,” with Lea Michele adding, “And there’s some rules that have been changed. The sorority was always very strict.” Someone has stolen the school’s mascot, which is a red devil, and begins to kill off members of the sorority, or whoever is in association with them.
Described as “Heathers” meets “Friday The 13th,” the dark comedy is expected to leave the audience on the edge of their seats with suspense and provide a fresh take on a beloved genre.
“What fresh hell is this?” Scream Queens premieres September 2015.
