Miley Cyrus And Ariana Grande Cover “Don’t Dream It’s Over” In Onesies For Backyard Sessions

Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande cover “Don’t Dream It’s Over” by Crowded House in the latest video for Cyrus’ Happy Hippie Foundation.

In the video, Cyrus and Grande are dressed in onesies as they sing in a backyard reminiscent of “Alice in Wonderland” on an inflatable, green couch. During a break in the song, Cyrus asks Grande “are you a mouse or a bear” tripping the 21-year-old “One Last Time” singer up and missing her cue to start singing again. Cyrus apologized for “flirting” with the young startlet as they continued the cover brilliantly. We all know Ariana Grande can sing her ass off, but you forget Miley has a really nice voice, you know behind all her shenanigans. I adored this cover.

Past Backyard Sessesions include colloborations with Joan Jett, Laura Jane Grace, and Melanie Safka. All these videos come to bring raise awareness for Cyrus’ recently launched Happy Hippie Foundation; that asks “young people to fight injustice facing homeless youth, LGBT youth and other vulnerable populations.
